- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until everything is well mixed and fully combined.
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour the melted chocolate into the oat mixture and stir until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Line an 8Ă—8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press it down firmly and evenly into the bottom.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1-2 hours until set. Once firm, take it out, cut into bars, and enjoy.

Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
