Instructions

  1. Preparation: Gather all ingredients and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Crush gingerbread cookies to fine crumbs and soften the cream cheese.
  2. Mixing: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread cookies, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cooking: Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Freeze for about 15 minutes. Melt the chocolate chips.
  4. Finishing: Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate to coat evenly, then place back on the baking sheet and add decorations before refrigerating until the chocolate hardens (10-15 minutes).
