- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim the ends and halve the Brussels sprouts.
- Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- In a separate bowl, mix together orange juice, maple syrup, orange zest, and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle the glaze over the roasted sprouts and toss to coat. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider adding chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cheese before serving. Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
