Description

Crispy, golden dumplings filled with savory meat and crunchy vegetables, served with a creamy peanut dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Ground meat (chicken, pork, or tofu)
  • Chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, green onions)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, minced
  • Peanut butter
  • Soy sauce (for sauce)
  • Honey or sugar (for sauce)
  • Water (for sauce)
  • Lime juice (for sauce)
  • Sesame oil (for sauce)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  2. Gather and chop your vegetables, mince the garlic and ginger.
  3. Mix the ground meat (or tofu), chopped cabbage, grated carrots, sliced green onions, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper and seal the edges with water.
  5. Arrange assembled dumplings on the baking sheet, brush with oil, and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Whisk together the peanut sauce ingredients and serve with the dumplings.

Notes

Customize the peanut sauce with chili sauce or ginger for extra flavor.
