Description

Instructions

  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in peaches and pecans if using.
  4. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Ensure butter is softened but not melted. Use canned peaches if fresh ones are out of season, and remember to drain them. Sprinkle sea salt on top before baking for extra flavor.
