Description

Fudgy brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter, offering a perfect chocolate and peanut butter balance.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until the batter is uniform and glossy.
  5. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 30–45 minutes before cutting.
