- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until the batter is uniform and glossy.
- Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 30–45 minutes before cutting.
