Description

Philly Cheesesteak Pasta combines the beloved flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with the comforting heartiness of pasta. A satisfying meal perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and beef sirloin to the skillet, cooking until the beef is browned.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to combine all the ingredients together.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the provolone cheese until melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve warm.

Notes

This dish pairs wonderfully with a side salad or garlic bread. For added flavor, consider marinating the beef or adding more seasoning.
