Description

A festive, playful appetizer that combines cream cheese and cheddar with nuts and green onions, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Crackers for serving
  • Red mini sweets or cherry tomatoes (for decoration)
  • Pretzel sticks (for antlers)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped green onions, chopped pecans or walnuts, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Mix the ingredients until well combined, using a spatula or hand mixer on low speed.
  3. Form the mixture into a tight ball shape and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Once firm, unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving plate. Decorate with a red mini sweet or cherry tomato for the nose and insert pretzel sticks as antlers.
  5. Serve immediately with crackers.

Notes

Serve at room temperature for easier spreading and arrange with colorful accompaniments.
