- 1 head of garlic
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the head of garlic, exposing the individual cloves.
- Drizzle olive oil over the garlic and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Roast in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until the garlic is soft and caramelized.
- Once cool, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl. Add the softened butter and salt, and mix well until creamy and combined. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve on toasted bread, vegetables, or use in your favorite recipes.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze in ice cube trays for up to 3 months.
