- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to form a solid crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well to combine.
- Fold in the diced apples, salted caramel sauce, chopped nuts, salt, and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Spread the apple cheesecake filling evenly over the prepared crust.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set. Allow the dessert to cool completely before cutting it into bars.
- Drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce before serving, if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
