Description

Delicious bars combining the rich creaminess of cheesecake with layers of caramel and fresh apples, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to form a solid crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well to combine.
  4. Fold in the diced apples, salted caramel sauce, chopped nuts, salt, and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  5. Spread the apple cheesecake filling evenly over the prepared crust.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set. Allow the dessert to cool completely before cutting it into bars.
  7. Drizzle with additional salted caramel sauce before serving, if desired.
