- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&M’s
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup crushed pretzels (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mix to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M’s, chopped nuts, and crushed pretzels.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a festive touch, dust with powdered sugar or add extra M&M’s on top.
