- 2 racks of pork ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Rub this spice mixture generously on both sides of the ribs.
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the ribs for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- After cooking, remove the ribs from the oven and take off the foil.
- Brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra smoky flavor, consider adding liquid smoke to the spice rub or finishing the ribs on a grill.
