Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub this spice mixture generously on both sides of the ribs.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the ribs for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. After cooking, remove the ribs from the oven and take off the foil.
  7. Brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs.
  8. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
