Delightful puff pastry twists filled with a rich mixture of feta cheese and fresh spinach, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into strips roughly 1 inch wide. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach and crumbled feta, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the spinach-feta mixture at one end of each pastry strip. Fold the pastry over the filling and twist to seal.
- Brush each twist with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in an oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
