Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and noodles in a sticky honey-soy glaze with a hint of garlic.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g noodles
- 300g chicken breast, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Pat the sliced chicken dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper. Mince the garlic and have the soy sauce and honey ready to mix.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and honey until smooth and combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wide pan over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through (about 5–6 minutes). Push the chicken to the side, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour the soy-honey mixture over the chicken and stir to coat; let it bubble for a minute. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the tossed noodles, mix well, and taste for seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Serve with steamed greens or a crisp salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
