Description

A hearty dish combining ground beef, spicy Italian sausage, and zesty pepperoni, topped with gooey mozzarella cheese in a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 lb pepperoni
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned.
  3. Drain excess fat. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Pour the meat mixture on the crust, layer with pepperoni, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Pairs well with a fresh salad or steamed vegetables. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
