Description

A flavorful twist on a classic favorite, this turkey meatloaf combines tender ground turkey with savory vegetables and spices for a comforting dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the loaf. Bake for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, customize the herbs or mix in some hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
