Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken in a rich, tangy sauce made with yogurt and heavy cream, spiced with paprika and cumin.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. Add the cubed chicken to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in the yogurt and heavy cream until well combined.
  4. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use full-fat yogurt and cream for the best texture and flavor. Stir a few spoonfuls of hot sauce into the yogurt before adding it to the pan to reduce risk of splitting.
