This Ultimate Crockpot Chili Dog Casserole is comfort food made simple, featuring chili, hot dogs, and melty cheese.
Ingredients

- 4 hot dogs, sliced
- 1 can chili (with or without beans)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer the sliced hot dogs, canned chili, diced onions, and diced bell peppers in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder, and add salt and pepper to taste over the mixture.
- Tear the crescent roll dough into small pieces and scatter evenly across the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours, or until everything is heated through.
- In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle cheese on top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot, scooping portions with hot dog, chili, and crescent pieces.
Notes
For a firmer dough on top, you can add it later during cooking or broil briefly after cooking.
