Description

Buttery, tender bites rolled in powdered sugar that melt in your mouth, with a soft, crumbly texture and nutty crunch from walnuts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Add flour, chopped walnuts, and salt. Mix until the dough holds together.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Roll in additional powdered sugar while warm. Allow to cool completely before serving.
