- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
- Additional crushed candy canes (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped white chocolate. Stir until smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the peppermint extract and crushed candy canes.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once firm, scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
- Melt the white chocolate chips until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then roll in crushed candy canes.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray to set.
