Description

Delightful and festive white chocolate truffles with a refreshing hint of peppermint and a crunchy finish from candy canes. Perfect for holiday gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • Additional crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped white chocolate. Stir until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract and crushed candy canes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once firm, scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
  6. Melt the white chocolate chips until smooth.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, then roll in crushed candy canes.
  8. Place on a parchment-lined tray to set.
