Description
This White Christmas Sangria is bright, festive, and easy to make, blending crisp white wine with sweet apple cider and a splash of brandy for a refreshing holiday drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle of white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1 cup club soda
- 2 cups mixed fruit (such as green apples, pears, and cranberries)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and dry the fruit. Core and thinly slice the green apples and pears so they release juice and flavor. Pat the cranberries dry if they are damp.
- Pour the white wine, apple cider, and brandy into the pitcher. Add the sliced apples, pears, and cranberries. Stir gently to combine and coat the fruit with the liquid.
- Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 120 minutes. For stronger flavor, chill up to 720 minutes, but add the club soda only right before serving.
- Stir in the club soda just before serving for fizz. Pour the sangria into glasses over ice if desired. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a few pieces of the fruit.
Notes
Chill at least 2 hours for best flavor. Avoid adding club soda too early to maintain fizz. Experiment with different fruits and variations for added flavor.
