Description

Delightful bite-sized churros infused with the unique flavor of Biscoff spread, perfect for snacking or parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff spread (plus more for serving)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: In a saucepan, combine the water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring this mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally to ensure the butter fully melts.
  2. Mix until combined: Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the flour until combined. The dough should come together as a cohesive ball. Let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cook: After the dough has cooled a bit, beat in the Biscoff spread until the mixture is smooth. Meanwhile, heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C). Drop small pieces of dough into the hot oil, frying until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Finish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the churro bites from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Roll the warm churro bites in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon to serve immediately with melted Biscoff spread for dipping.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil. For gluten-free churros, use a gluten-free flour blend.
