Description

Fluffy and sweet biscuit bites coated in a delightful cinnamon sugar mixture, perfect for a quick snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and 1/4 cup sugar in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Cut in the cold, cubed butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently, then roll out to about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Cut out biscuit shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon and sprinkle over the tops of the biscuit bites.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, ensure your butter is cold and do not over-knead the dough.
