Description

An easy-to-make casserole combining tender chicken, pasta, and marinara sauce, topped with melted cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously on top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

This casserole is great on its own or served with garlic bread and a fresh salad. Adjust the salt and pepper according to your marinara’s sodium level.
