Description

This easy crockpot meatballs recipe turns simple ingredients into a cozy, saucy meal with minimal hands-on time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently to avoid over-mixing.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the crockpot in a single layer and pour marinara sauce over them.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until cooked through.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Browning the meatballs before cooking is optional but adds extra flavor. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
