Description

This easy sugar cookie glaze is silky and sweet, adding a smooth finish to your cookies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sift the powdered sugar into a medium bowl to remove lumps.
  2. Add the milk to the powdered sugar a little at a time while stirring.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and press any lumps through a fine mesh.
  4. Adjust the glaze thickness by adding more powdered sugar or milk as needed.
  5. Add food coloring drop by drop and mix until even.
  6. Spoon or dip the cookies, then let them sit until the glaze sets.
