Description
This creamy white garlic pizza sauce is quick to make and full of bright garlic flavor, enriching your pizza without tomato.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and mince the garlic very finely. Measure the mayonnaise and sour cream into a medium bowl. Juice the lemon.
- Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, and dried oregano to the bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
- No cooking needed. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth. For an extra-silky texture, pulse briefly in a small food processor or blender.
- Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or lemon. Let the sauce sit for 10–15 minutes to let flavors meld. Spread the sauce thinly over your pizza dough before adding toppings and baking.
Notes
For a smoother sauce, pulse in a blender for 5–10 seconds. Use fresh lemon juice for brightness.
